Surah Al-Fatiha is just seven verses — but it contains a lifetime of wisdom. It reminded me that every journey begins with praise, that guidance comes only from the One who owns the path, and that I should constantly ask, not assume. “اهدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ المُستَقِيمَ” taught me that I’ll never outgrow the need for direction. It taught me to see life as a walk between mercy and justice, between gratitude and accountability. Whenever I feel lost, anxious, or overwhelmed, I go back to Al-Fatiha. It doesn’t give me answers it makes me ask better questions.
